Language changes. Slang in particular has made a significant impact on the world’s languages. English slang in the U.S. has contributed much to the spoken lexicon. But like fashion, slang words, terms and phrases go in and out of style. That’s why, every now and then, we wonder about slang – in particular, the slang no longer used. For example. people no longer ask, “What’s your bag?” And when was the last time you heard someone use the word “groovy” in a conversation, without being ironic?
